When we made the switch fromto , we needed to move away from our (free) legacy Gmail custom domains setup (yeah, we know – Google, ugh!) to a paid solution, and Office 365 was pretty much a no brainer. For about $5 per user per month, which is what Google charges now for custom domain email, and a lot less than Dropbox charges for storage, we got both custom email, 1TB of storage, and a lot more with Office 365 Business Essentials.
So, we’ve been using Office 365 mail for some time, now, but last week we celebrated the launch of Microsoft Teams by moving from our combination of Trello for workflow and Hipchat for internal communications to Teams and Microsoft Planner.
We’re still getting used to the new system, and while some things are better, to be honest some things aren’t. One advantage of jumping on the Microsoft Teams / Planner bandwagon early, though, is that we’re expecting lots of upgrades, some of them coming in the near future.
